Spellbook

Class abilities come in ranks. Each rank has its own level requirement and values, and you learn it from your Class Trainer once your level allows; some abilities come from talents instead. Search any class below and compare its ranks before you visit the trainer.

Opening the spellbook and learning new ranks

  1. Click the micro menu button whose tooltip reads Spellbook & Professions, or press P, the default key for Toggle Spellbook in Options › Keybindings › Interface Panel.
  2. To find a trainer, turn on Class Trainer in the minimap tracking menu. Talk to the trainer, select an ability and press Train.
  3. Drag an ability from the spellbook onto an action bar to use it.
