WoW Forever Paladin guide, levels 1 to 20: spells, first talents and Legacy

A Paladin is a Human or Dwarf on the Alliance side and an Undead on the Horde side; Horde Paladin: the Undead Paladin compares their racials. A new Human or Dwarf Paladin already knows Holy Light and Seal of Righteousness, and a new Undead Paladin already knows Seal of Righteousness; your class trainer teaches every other spell in the level list, and each new rank, once you reach its level. Your first talent point comes at level 10, or earlier with the Legacy perk Talented.

Which spells does a Paladin learn at each level up to level 20?

Redemption does not come from the trainer. From level 12 a class quest chain teaches it, starting with The Tome of Divinity from Duthorian Rall in Stormwind for a Human, The Tome of Divinity from Tiza Battleforge in Ironforge for a Dwarf and A Lesson in Divinity from Danitha Morr at Bandarion Keep in Tirisfal Glades for an Undead.

What does each new spell do?

  • Holy Light: Heals a friendly target for 42 to 50.

  • Seal of Righteousness: Fills the Paladin with holy spirit for 30 seconds, granting each melee attack an additional 2.4827586 to 8.64 Holy damage. Slower weapons cause more Holy damage per swing. Only one Seal can be active on the Paladin at any one time.

Unleashing this Seal's energy will cause 24 to 26 Holy damage to an enemy.

  • Devotion Aura: Gives 55 additional armor to party members within 30 yards. Players may only have one Aura on them per Paladin at any one time.

  • Blessing of Might: Places a Blessing on the friendly target, increasing melee attack power by 14 for 1 hour. Players may only have one Blessing on them per Paladin at any one time.

  • Judgement: Unleash the energy of a Seal spell upon an enemy. Does not consume the Seal. Refer to individual Seals for Judgement effect.

Unleashing this Seal's energy will judge an enemy for 40 seconds, increasing Holy damage taken by up to 23. Your melee strikes will refresh the spell's duration. Only one Judgement per Paladin can be active at any one time.

  • Purify: Purifies the friendly target, removing 1 disease effect and 1 poison effect.
