WoW Forever item sources and crafting uses

Lavishly Jeweled Ring drops from Gilnid in The Deadmines. The two Lesser Arcane Elixirs are different Alchemy recipes: one consumes a Crystal Vial, and the other consumes a Leaded Vial. Open the item, or search for the name, and follow the boss or the recipe from that page.
Where does the ring come from?
Lavishly Jeweled Ring requires level 17 and grants 2 agility and 6 intellect. Gilnid drops it in The Deadmines. The page does not list a drop chance. Gilnid's other listed drop is Smelting Pants, a level 16 leather legs piece with 76 armor, 5 spirit and 7 stamina. Mr. Smite drops a different ring in the same dungeon, First Mate Band. Both are listed under The Deadmines loot.
An item with no acquisition line has no recorded boss or vendor. Empty Vial is one of those: the page lists Alchemy recipes that consume it and does not list a place to find the vial. Its crafting uses are still useful, but confirm a purchase or gathering location in game rather than assuming one.
Which Lesser Arcane Elixir is which?
Lesser Arcane Elixir (Crystal Vial recipe) comes from the Crystal Vial recipe: 1 elixir from 1 Kingsblood, 1 Goldthorn and 1 Crystal Vial. Lesser Arcane Elixir (Leaded Vial recipe) comes from the Leaded Vial recipe: 1 elixir from 4 Kingsblood and 1 Leaded Vial.
Those are different crafts. Kingsblood is shared, at 1 on the Crystal Vial recipe and 4 on the Leaded Vial recipe. Goldthorn is only on the Crystal Vial recipe. Set the recipe you can make. Adding both counts both vials and both Kingsblood totals.
Kingsblood lists every recipe that consumes it, including these two. Start there when the herb is what you have. The page does not show a gathering node for it.
Which Deadmines ring suits which character?
Both rings are rare finger items for level 17. Lavishly Jeweled Ring from Gilnid grants 2 agility and 6 intellect, which suits a caster or a hybrid who also uses agility. First Mate Band from Mr. Smite grants 2 stamina and 6 strength, which suits a melee fighter. Neither ring is in the other boss's list, so a character that wants both runs the dungeon through both fights.
Where do you read the reagent side?
A reagent has no boss. Open Empty Vial or Kingsblood and read its list of crafting uses, then add only the recipes you intend to craft. The materials total multiplies by craft count and subtracts what you own once, which is the worked case in recipes and missing materials.
Browse the bosses of each dungeon in dungeon loot.
